Protests by Amazon and Instacart activists demanding security

In the protests, they highlighted the dangers of their work.They said they had to take the biggest risks in delivering goods and working from the front to people living in safety during the Covid-19 epidemic.They recently demanded to stop the delivery service due to an employee suffering from coronavirus.They said they would continue the protest until the demands were met.Asked about this,  Amazon told AFP that workers had given the wrong information.A worker is in quarantine.In a statement, Amazon said that due to the coronavirus epidemic, like all other business organizations, we are working to ensure maximum security for employees.We have taken the most precautionary measures for the safety of the people.Amazon has released some workers from the work following the protests.Yesterday, some Instacart activists said they were shutting down their app to get work done because of security concerns.

 Most people in the house are shopping online because of coronavirus. As a result, companies like Amazon Instacart are also daring to offer services.Recently, the two companies said that 1 lakh warehouse workers and 3 lakh shopkeepers would be employed. However, workers complained that adequate security was not being ensured.
